Dicen que cuando la noche se torna mas oscura es porque esta a punto de amanecer, y con esta frase quiero iniciar este post sobre la nueva película de la saga Crepúsculo: Luna Nueva.
Vuelve Bella, Vuelve Edward Y Vuelven Los Cullen.
Continuando la tradición de nombres relacionados a la noche, esta película retrata de manera sublime la trama del libro, logrando un resultado final de lo mas recomendable. Sin duda alguna esta secuela supera con creces a su antecesora Crepúsculo, el ambiente logrado es sin duda mas ominoso y el diseño de personajes también mejoro bastante, logrando que la familia Cullen se vea mas como una familia real de seres inmortales y hermosamente perfectos, en lugar de la pandilla de maniquíes de cera sin expresión de la primera parte.
Sin duda la primer parte de la saga dejo mucho que desear.
Los efectos especiales merecen un apartado especial, pues aparte de mejorar con creces el efecto "al sol" de los vampiros, lograron una excelente representación de las alucinaciones de bella, algo muy representativo del libro y que sin duda era un reto para esta nueva entrega. Mas sin duda alguna, los mejores efectos de la cinta, son para "La Manada", el grupo de lobos metamorfos no licántropos, que aparecen por primera vez en la serie.

El aspecto final del “Wolf Pack” es alucinante, sinceramente no los había imaginado tan grandes, pero definitivamente me encanto el aspecto. La expresiva mirada de estos lobos, el efecto del pelo y sobre todo las intempestivas transformaciones hicieron que estos personajes robaran cámara en cada una de sus escenas.
Mención Especial para Taylor Lautner, por su increíble transformación (7 años desde que fue el niño tiburón), pero sobre todo, por soportar los primeros 15 minutos de la película sin quitarse la camisa.
En cuanto a la historia, Luna Nueva es el capitulo triste y oscuro de la saga, después del cual los eventos se precipitan en una interminable vorágine de emociones hasta
el desenlace. En otras palabras, es como Harry Potter And The Half-Blood Prince con lobos y vampiros en lugar de magos y hechizos.
Damas, Caballeros y Pulgas, con ustedes Jacob Black.
Otra de las novedades en este filme, es la presencia de Los Volturi, que en palabras de Edward Cullen, son “Lo mas cercano a la realeza” en el mundo de los vampiros. Crueles, fríos, despiadados, maquiavélicos … Simples adjetivos que no alcanzan a describir a estos seres, que enfundados en su belleza y perfección, imponen implacablemente su justicia entre sus pares con una simple regla: “MANTENER EL SECRETO”.

Sin duda el capitulo mas triste de la historia, pero profundamente importante, pues es el que nos permite meternos en la mente de Isabella Swan, conocer su obsesión sentir su dolor y finalmente entender sus decisiones futuras. Sin duda una gran adaptación, que supera con creces a la primera parte y por momentos supera hasta al mismo libro. Crucemos los dedos para que Eclipse mantenga el mismo nivel.
