Bueno, técnicamente yo no soy Ironman, Tony Stark es Ironman. Como dice Sheldon Cooper yo podría ser Batman si tuviese el dinero suficiente, pero no soy Batman ni tampoco Ironman, a lo que viene la frase que da titulo a esta entrada es para hacer una especie de puente entre la ultima frase de la película Ironman 1 y la frase inicial de la recientemente estrenada Ironman 2 de la cual les quiero platicar.

Tony Stark regresa, tan pronto vestido en elegantes trajes Armani como enfundado en su brillante armadura de Oro y Platino, regresa para demostrar que el gran éxito de la anterior entrega no fue un hecho aleatorio e irrepetible, sino la antesala de una secuela brillante, pletórica de estrellas, con actuaciones fenomenales, diálogos alucinantes y tremendas dosis de acción que no dejaran a nadie decepcionado.

La historia nos sitúa exactamente donde la precuela nos dejo, con Tony Stark declarando a los 4 vientos no solo su afición por los lujos y mujeres, sino por el peligro de combatir al mal metido en una  macro lata de alta tecnología. Lógicamente su armadura despierta la envidia de propios y extraños, teniendo que defenderla del gobierno americano, la competencia comercial y los enemigos.

 

Nick Fury

DATO FRIKI: Nick Fury aparece de nuevo en esta cinta, con un papel mas relevante y una misión clara: La Iniciativa Avengers.

Dentro de los personajes nuevos tenemos a Mickey Rourke interpretando con todo rigor profesional al Whiplash, El "Ruso Malo" de la película, un personaje muy bien desarrollado y que, como dato curioso, es la fusión de 2 personajes del comic: Whiplash y Crimsom Dinamo.

También regresa a esta saga el Coronel James Rhodes, esta vez interpretado por Don Cheadle, inseparable compañero de Tony Stark y ahora, adoptando la identidad de WarMachine, también compañero de Ironman. La relación de Ironman con WarMachine en el comic es tempestuosa y pareciera que nunca están de acuerdo en nada, sin embargo a pesar de estar constantemente enfrentados, la amistad y el respeto que se profesan mutuamente los mantienen juntos. En esta cinta se retrata de parca manera esta relación, pero los cimientos están sembrados y veremos que le depara el destino a esta singular pareja de superhéroes de baterías no incluidas.

WarMachine  DATO FRIKI: Don Cheadle interpreta a James Rhodes/WarMachine después de que el actor Terrence Howard abandono el proyecto entre rumores de diferencias con el director y cuestiones económicas.

 

Por otro lado tenemos a la siempre exuberante Scarlett Johansson Interpretando a Natasha Romanoff alias La Viuda Negra (Black Widow), Un Personaje enigmático que de buenas a primeras no nos deja en claro cual es su rol en este juego. Como dato curioso puedo platicarles que Johansson llego al casting con el cabello teñido de rojo y enfundada en un traje negro de piel, según dijo "¨Para que vieran claramente como luciría". Sin duda su claro compromiso profesional impresiono a los directivos que sin dudar le dieron contrato por 5 películas, por lo cual tendremos viuda hasta en la sopa.

 

Black Widow DATO FRIKI: Natasha Romanoff (Scarlett Johansson) toma el papel de asistente personal de Tony Stark, ahora que Pepper Potts (Gwyneth Paltrow) fue nombrada CEO de Stark Industries.

 

¿Que viene luego? solo Marvel y el gran Espagueti Volador lo saben, podemos especular mucho para la tercera, como por ejemplo la ansiada aparición del Mandarín, archienemigo por excelencia de IronMan y del cual aun no hemos sabido nada. Lo único seguro es que vuelve Tony, vuelve Rhodes, vuelve la Viuda y vuelve S.H.I.E.L.D., para muestra basta la imagen post créditos de esta cinta.

Así pues, les recomiendo encarecidamente que se hagan un tiempecito para echarle un ojo a esta secuela que es un lujo de calidad y de paso conocer un poquito mejor a Tony Stark, el megalómano egoísta que decidió poner su irremplazable Yo en peligro y luchar por sus creencias. ¿Haríamos nosotros lo mismo aun si tuviésemos una Campbell’s HiTech o el dinero suficiente para ser Batman?
